Turn G-code PRIVACY POLICY

1. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DATA

Mykola Dorosh, an individual, Ukraine (trading as FIFTY LINE), "we". Contact for data questions: support · turngcode.com.

2. WHAT DATA AND WHY

2.1. On your computer (not sent anywhere unless stated otherwise):

  • program settings, the licence file, the encrypted cache of the decryption key and trial-period markers, in your user profile folder (.turnmaster and next to it);
  • the G-code programs you create are saved only where you save them; we do not receive them.

2.2. What the program sends to our licence server:

  • the licence key (on activation and status checks);
  • a computer identifier: a hash (an irreversible checksum) of the computer's system identifier, not the identifier itself and not the computer name;
  • the time on your computer (protection against clock changes);
  • during the trial: the computer identifier, and we record the IP address and date of the first request to limit trial abuse.

As with any internet request, our server and its providers see the IP address and technical details of the request.

Purpose: issue and verify the licence and the decryption key, bind a licence to one computer, prevent abuse.

2.3. Website and account: e-mail address and account name, data needed to issue and restore keys, and support requests.

2.4. Payments: the Platform Creem (creem.io) takes payment. It processes payment and tax data under its own policy; from it we receive only what is needed to issue a key (e.g. e-mail, plan, payment status).

2.5. We do not collect information about which parts you make, which cycles you use or which parameters you enter.

3. LEGAL BASIS

Performance of the agreement (issuing and checking the licence), our legitimate interest (preventing abuse and fraud), compliance with law; where required, your consent.

4. WHO RECEIVES DATA

Providers without whom the service cannot run: hosting of the licence database (Supabase, servers in Ireland, EU), website hosting Cloudflare, the Platform Creem (creem.io), the e-mail service Resend (receives your e-mail only to send you the key). Others only if the law requires. We do not sell data.

5. RETENTION

Licence data: for the licence term and the time afterwards needed for disputes and accounting. Trial records (computer identifier, IP, date): as long as needed to prevent trial abuse. Account data: while the account exists.

6. YOUR RIGHTS

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, object to processing, and portability, as far as the law of your country (e.g. GDPR) provides. Write to support · turngcode.com. You may complain to your national supervisory authority.

7. SECURITY

The decryption key is stored on your computer encrypted using the operating system's facilities. Communication with the server uses a secure connection. No system offers absolute protection.

8. CHILDREN

The Software is meant for adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect children's data.

9. CHANGES

We will announce material changes on the website. The current version is always on turngcode.com, section "Privacy".
